Family Therapy

Rebuild your family’s connection

Who is family therapy for?

Family are some of the few people who are just instantly part of your life, no questions asked. You know each other well, and at times can even guess how your family is going to respond or react. This closeness can be both comforting, and it can feel like too much.

Has there been a recent event that pushed your family apart? Has there always been tension due to differing values, beliefs, or power struggles? Are you hoping to grow closer to your children, parents, or extended family? Family therapy might be for you.

Family therapy is for those who are looking for understanding, connection, and healing in their family unit. It can help you clarify the ever-changing structure within a family, and give you the chance to reconnect with those closest to you. Healing can happen no matter your age or stage of life.

How does family therapy work?

Safety is a top priority in family therapy. With each family member present, we will ensure we are all on the same page with the same goals for the therapy work.

Building upon the natural structure of the family, we will work together to listen and speak with respect for one another. We will look at the deeper patterns that have hurt your connection and move toward love through understanding.

My role is to be a guide to help you and your family members reconnect safely, genuinely, and regularly.

“As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.”

— John Paul II
